The word Argentina comes from the Latin Argentum, that means Silver.
CITY OF BUENOS AIRES
It is the capital city of Argentina. It has an autonomous government, with its own legislation body and jurisdiction, and its Governor is elected directly by the citizens of the City of Buenos Aires.

NATIONAL FLOWER
The flower of the ceibo tree is also called seibo, seíbo or bucaré. It was declared national flower in Argentina, setting November 22 as the Day of the National Flower: The Ceibo.
